Crying For A Christmas - Scott Krippayne
Live acoustic performance of one of my favorite songs of the season.
I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day - Scott Krippayne
I remember Wayne Watson singing this years ago when we were on a Christmas tour together and it would bring me to tears nearly every night. With all that's going on in the world these days, I felt compelled to share my own take on this 1863 poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Just me, a keyboard, and an iphone camera. Praying for peace and clinging to hope this holiday season.
I heard the bells on Christmas Day Their old familiar carols play And wild and sweet the words repeat Of peace on earth, good will to men
And thought how as the day had come The belfries of all Christendom Had rolled along the unbroken song Of peace on earth, good will to men
And in despair I bowed my head 'There is no peace on earth' I said For hate is strong and it mocks the song Of peace on earth, good will to men
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep God is not dead nor does He sleep The wrong shall fail, the right prevails With peace on earth, good will to men
